My special education adult students (ages 18-21) are visual learners and are distracted easily. These books are colorful, have few sentences to each picture and are funny--which my students love. The humor will keep students interested. We will read them daily and over and over again. The students are also hands-on learners, so to be able to hold the books is a plus. Then, we will apply what we've read/learned. These books will be used again and again for years to come as it has been my experience that my students need to read, listen and practice these appropriate social behaviors daily to help them become more independent and to assist them when they graduate at age 21. Thank you.
