Students must have technology access to develop as 21st century learners. Many of these students do not have this access at home. Now, with shrinking school budgets, that access is becoming more limited in the classroom. Our campus will have to share Chromebooks and will have limited access and opportunities to work with them. I want to provide this small number of Chromebooks to ensure kids will have a daily opportunity to interact with this technology! We plan to use Chromebooks during intervention time. We will also create small group/individual projects and use this technology for research. Having these in the classroom will ensure daily exposure and use for the students! How exciting!
