My students need activities that focus on word building and writing, as well as math manipulatives to explore during centers and whole group instruction. Our students will use these materials to explore their ability through building, making letters and sounds, and then words on the easel. These activities will be used during whole group reading and center times throughout the day. They will be able to use these math manipulatives during our whole group and small group time, focusing on the concept of building ten as we explore skills. The whisper phones will help to increase their reading fluency so they can hear their voice as they read. Your generous donation to our project will improve our first grade classroom by building stronger reading, writing, and math skills. Their engagement will increase which will in turn, produce successful learning and they will have fun while learning!
