Our students in history and reading are studying Elizabeth I and Medieval times. We want to provide an experiential field trip so students can see daily life, customs, and clothing to help extend learning from the classroom. This field trip 'back in time' will provide students with a glimpse of what medieval life was like. Education is not just reading or writing but experiencing. We learn best when we experience the lessons taught. As much as possible, we want our students to experience the lessons and concepts learned in the classroom. This will help promote deeper understanding and critical thinking.
