I teach kindergarten and first grade low functioning autism support in a high poverty school district. I have six wonderful students in my class. They are very energetic and eager to learn! We use principals from Applied Behavior Analysis in my classroom. My students require fast paced instruction with a dense schedule of reinforcement. Positive reinforcement is used to teach new skills, and decrease problem behavior.
