Our small rural school is exceptional in many ways. We have wonderful students and awesome teachers, but declining school funding in Oklahoma has meant that there is no money for the computers we need. With these Chromebooks, I will be able to assign collaborative writing projects for students to work on in small groups. They will be able to create slide shows and practice writing main ideas and supporting details to accompany their projects. Our school subscribes to several learning programs and we will be able to use Chromebooks to target areas where students need additional practice. Working with computers will help motivate my students and bring them into 21st century learning.
