Research has shown that by providing flexible seating to our students, the learning environment becomes more conducive for the needs of all learners. Some students are able to learn at a desk with a chair, and others may need to stand, relax and kick their feet up, or use a comfy chair! Our goal is to provide a classroom with a variety of seating options for students to choose from! Having flexible seating also provides students with the opportunity to have effective collaboration with their peers by manipulating their surroundings. The seating arrangements we are requesting will allow students to feel more comfortable in their classroom by truly making the space their own.
