Last year (just weeks before school started ) I was given the opportunity to teach on the most amazing 3rd grade team. My entire teaching career (17 years) was in Middle School so I have no elementary resources. One of the most important pieces to a great 3rd grade class is having an amazing library filled with a variety of interesting books available for young readers to dive into. At this moment my sad little library consists of books that have been donated or discarded from the school library and other teachers. My classroom is in need of a variety of fantastic books that appeal to the many different interests of my 3rd graders. The books that I have requested will satisfy the various interests of all of my students and hopefully lure even the most reluctant readers to grab a book.
