At my school, we are constantly looking for new ways to infuse arts into our classrooms because we see the way it fosters engagement and increases out of the box, creative thinking. Through the use of puppets, my students can retell and create stories in a way that excites and engages them to the fullest. Play is an important part of early childhood learning. The puppets will allow my students to learn through their play. I bought and am refurbishing a puppet theater so the my students can practice important literacy skills like character, setting, sequencing, problem, and solution with materials that will make them excited to learn.
