I am requesting 3 Apple iPad Air 2 Wi-Fi iPads and protective cases. My classroom has only one iPad. Students use the iPad to take accelerated reading quizzes on their library books, but could do so much more if we had more than one. Our school has also begun to do a lot of testing on computer. The test could be taken on classroom iPads if we had enough. Instead we have to go to a computer lab that has no teacher to have things up and running, which often causes delays, distractions, and other problems. My students could also do research,interactive, and practice activities for math and reading on iPads if we had enough for small group instruction. I feel that my students would improve on test scores if they were able to test in their own classroom. IPads would also help students stay more engaged when doing practice and interactive activities.
