As a teacher in a low-income school district, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, my students are amazing. I am dedicated to thinking "outside the box" to provide my students with creative, engaging, and meaningful learning experiences. I believe in my students and promote creating real-world connections to their daily learning. My classroom environment allows my students to confidently tap into their full potential and acknowledge that they are important members of our community.
