Hi! My students are part of a Title 1 school. They are eager to learn and feel loved. I strive to create a family atmosphere where we all take care of each other, & it's heart-warming to see how much tenderness is in their hearts when they feel safe. Our classroom is simple, yet colorful. I change out a few holiday/seasonal touches, as needed because I love how excited they get about those little changes. While we still have student desks, I do allow students to move around & find a spot where they can work comfortably. I've seen how much more focused they can be when energy isn't spent on sitting a certain way. Hugs occur daily... these are my babies.
