The digitalized age is upon us and young students are excited and empowered by this hands on learning. Chromebooks provide individualized learning at a student's fingertips. A teacher can guide the learning of many students by setting goals and providing exemplars, but the tools of learning need to be in the hands of the child. Chromebooks allow children to work at their own pace and allow the teacher to receive the feedback of how much work was done and the accuracy of that work. Creating a class project and then allowing only five students to work on it (the number of Chromebooks I now have available) at a time dumbs down the group excitement of the learning process. With the tools now available on the Chromebooks, students can be reading, writing, and playing math games with their friends so that they hunger for the learning process. It is fun, challenging, and interactive!
