An area my students struggle the most in is grammar and reading. Since my students are very interested in any type of technology, I believe that the Boogie Board LCD eWriter would be a great addition to our Language Arts time. These Boogie Boards will be used by students to practice writing and reading their grade level sight words daily during our Word Work block. For example, each student has their own set of sight word cards. During Word Work, they would choose one of their sight words at a time to practice. If they chose the word 'them', they would write and read the word several times on the Boogie Board. With repeated practice and drilling on the Boogie Boards, students will better be able to read and recognize their sight words.
