I want my students to capture, edit, and post their learning and use that to create scientific discourse about concepts. Screen casting lessons and posting videos of aspects of our lab have opened my students to digital media and how they can show what they have learned to the camera and to the world. Our classroom could be a blend of traditional and digital learning, already our students use "Science Selfies" to show their application of science concepts at home or in the community. I recently went to Space Camp and watched how another teacher uses a GoPro camera to document their experience and share it with the world. The Go Pro, mounts, batter and cables will allow my students and I to record science experiments from a unique perspective. Students can then watch on Youtube to reinforce the lesson.
