Technology is so important when working with students that have special needs! The opportunity to access a tablet on a daily basis would provide students with a learning experience that is both both auditory and visually appealing. There are many accessible programs on the internet that my students enjoy. These programs provide students with practice in the areas of functional reading and math skills. At this time, it can be difficult for the students to access the programs, as we have a very limited amount of technology in our classroom. The students in the classroom really enjoy using tablets. These devices work well for students that have various needs, like weak fine motor skills or visual needs.
