After 18 years of teaching, I still have the passion and energy to make each year special. I continue to learn and grow as an educator by keeping in tune with my students' ever changing needs. My classroom is one of respect; the biggest thing I protect is each child's right to learn in a safe space. Over the past few years, I've become interested in the research that supports movement while learning and I incorporate brain breaks into our days and action into most lessons. I believe that kids are our country's greatest resource and I am blessed to have heard the call to become a teacher.
