I teach 3rd grade in an area of the city where there are many students with unique and diverse needs. In my classroom, it is our motto to make tomorrow better than today. I have high expectations for my kiddos, and I push them every moment they are with me to reach those expectations. We are currently working on our STEAM certification (school wide) and that is a big part of what we do each week. By integrating the STEAM process into our daily routines, we are teaching kids how to be critical thinkers, collaborative workers, and problem solvers. It really has helped our students become better prepared for the world outside of school.
