Welcome! I am a teacher at an urban high school in the center of San Francisco. The school consists of greater than 1,000 students and offers grades 9-12 but accommodates students with a wide range of ages due to their Learning Disability Services that accounts for 17% of the population and English Learners program with 31% of our students. As of 2015 the majority of the students at my site qualified for free or reduced lunch constituting an economic disadvantage attendance of 65%. During the 2016-2017 school year I will be teaching AP Calculus and Algebra I but have taught a wide range of classes from math to biology. My goal is to make my classes connected to science, the real world, and the cultures my students come with.
