Flexible seating is being shown to be incredibly powerful in the classroom. Some benefits include allowing children to use up excess energy, burn calories, increase motivation and engagement for students, and improve core strength and posture. Additionally, using flexible seating promotes decision making, increases student ownership of the learning process, and facilitates communication and collaboration in the clasroom. Student in flexible seating environments are thriving and I can't wait to give my students these advantages! I am hoping to see improved behavior, and increase in enthusiasm for the classroom environment, and most importantly more engaged learners. Learning first starts with properly equipping our students and classrooms!
