Each day in our English classes, we take time for students to read a self-selected text. Many struggle to find a book they enjoy or to take the time out of their busy schedules to actually obtain a copy of a book, while others simply don't have the resources to obtain copies. Some make statements such as "I haven't read a book in _____ years". We often work closely with our students to help them find a text they might connect with and to help them gain access to the text. By donating to our project, you will be providing students with access to diverse and engaging literature within the walls of our classroom. Students can worry less about physically locating a text and more about finding one they will enjoy and sustain.

About my class
