I believe that the idea of a classroom with 21 desks and 21 chairs is outdated and does not lend itself to the most innovative learning. With the different choices for seating, wobble chairs, beanbag seats and foam chairs, the ease at which we will be able to move the "seats" there will be a more flexible learning environment. Students will be able to problem solve and practice participating in learning groups of their own design. Students should have a sense of community in their learning space. Sterile, teacher-led classroom configurations are outdated and not reflective of our society. I want a classroom of joy and ownership!
