My Pre-K students come from very diverse backgrounds and we have many English Language Learners. My students are learning to be caring, open minded, inquirers, principled, communicators, risk takers, and reflectors among many other things. Each day we learn how to encourage these attributes with many different materials in many different ways, mostly through a play based learning model. My students learn best in an active learning situation where they can manipulate materials to foster their curiosity.

About my class
