Second graders are extremely energetic and are very wiggly! It can become quite challenging for anyone to sit in a standard chair all day long, this is even hard for some adults. When students are uncomfortable and become overly-wiggly, they get easily distracted and frustrated. Having Hokki stools in my classroom will provide a unique option for students who need to wiggle while staying fully engaged with the learning process. I will be offering alternative/flexible seating to all of my students this year. Students will have the option to choose where they sit and will be given several options including pillows, rockers, standing tables, stools, etc. Hokki stools will be a fantastic option for those who like to move while working.
