These donations will help my students build their literacy skills. It will allow them a comfortable place to sit and read and learn. The center supplies will help them practice the literacy skills they have learned in the classroom. All of these supplies will help my students grow as readers throughout the year. They will be able to have hands on materials to practice these skills. They will be able to work with other students and together build their literacy skills. These supplies will lead these students into learning to love to learn and to build confidence in themselves as learners. The chairs will provide students with a comfortable place to enjoy reading. The word games, building sentences, and magnetic letters will give students the opportunity to practice new skills in fun and interactive ways with peers. The dry erase boards will provide students a place to practice reading and writing skills as well as a quick and easy way for student participation in small group or whole group lessons.
