My school is not able to fund a diverse, flexible, and engaging physical environment. My students would thrive in choosing a learning space that works the best for them, just like we do when we walk into a coffee shop. I want to build a safe learning environment around flexible seating where students can collaborate, communicate, and engage in critical thinking. This generation of students can no longer sit in chairs all day. Flexible seating is a solution that will help students remain engaged. By donating to these flexible seating options students will have a true sense of ownership of their learning in deciding if they want to work in beanbags, wobble chairs, stability balls, chairs, or work standing up.
