The games and prizes I have requested will motivate my students to work hard during class and strive to get some game time or a prize as a reward. These games and toys will be used to replenish our class game collection and prize chest. I reinforce good behavior such as listening, being on task, and finishing tasks with points that can be used for 20 minutes of game time once a week. I have chosen bilingual games to engage students in practicing their oral language skills while they have fun socializing with their peers in the target language. The games will reinforce and help students learn positive behavior, and it will help them practice and learn speaking skills in Spanish or English. The donations to this project will help students learn responsibility in class as they internalize language skills. I have chosen Spanish/English bilingual games like Scrabble and Zingo. Other games I chose are Headbanz, Guess Who, and other word games that can be used and adapted for practicing English or Spanish skills. Please help me in rewarding all the effort and hard work my students show everyday as they learn a new language and prepare for the future.
