Kindergarten students need lots of movement throughout the day and a rug will provide another space in our classroom for meeting and learning. Circle time is an important aspect of a kindergartner's day and a rug is essential to have in our classroom. This rug will provide a comfortable space for learning to occur. Having an oval ABC rug for students to sit on will help solidify their learning of letters and sounds as well. For example, I can ask students to sit on specific letters or say the sounds associated with the letter they are on. It will create a fun, and inspiring space to learn!
