In my classroom, I have a future teacher and doctor. In my room I instruct the scientist who will make great discoveries. In my room, I am cultivating the next great leader. They don't know this yet but I do because I am their Kindergarten teacher. They are more than just kids from a high needs community. They are the future. They may be your future neighbor, your child's playmate or best friend. The may be the hero who saved your home or your life. All they need is a few tools to set them on the path for success.
