My student population and demographics do not always lend themselves to having the opportunity to obtain the working knowledge of basic tools. Students do not know the difference between a flat head screwdriver and a Philips head screwdriver. What do you use a wrench for? What is a fuse, why is it important? How do I save money on basic home repairs, or how do I learn a trade that helps me earn extra money? How do I change out the bit on a drill? I want my students to know these answers.
