I have students with sensory needs. Certain sounds, although may be okay for most people, can be too troublesome for some of my students. They may get over stimulated and have meltdowns or may try to run away. They participate in general education PE with their peers. Also, once a month our school have fire drills and rallies. A noise reduction ear muffs will greatly help my students participate in school activities with ease. I would like them to fit in without any hassle or tears. When they are feeling nervous because of a certain or an anticipated sound or music, like a fire alarm for example, I would be able to offer them one of these headphones as a way to relieve their fear. I had a couple of these headphones last year, but they broke during summer school. The "Mickey Mouse" ears (that is what one of my students call it) really helps reduce unnecessary behaviors. Please help. Thank you.
