In my classroom differentiation is key. With that my students are doing a variety of activities and using a variety of online programs. As not to distract other students and focus to the student using the online program, headphones are essential. Headphones are also important to our new online testing system. Headphones that are not made for elementary students are easily broken, do not fit students properly and can easily distract my kindergarten students. When our headphones break I have to alter our center rotation schedule to accommodate the supplies I have. In doing so, my students' individual time on the computer is decreased due to a lack of supplies.
