I teach art in an elementary school that is truly affected by the large military presence in our area. Our school is a lower income based school and we need everything we can get to make our students' lives better. I teach art to a wide variety of students who suffer from disabilities, hearing loss, language barriers and other problems. Every student in my school comes to my art room at least once a week.
