Books are powerful! Students need access to good books whether I use the books to teach or students are reading them at home! In a virtual learning environment, students need access to good books as they would have in the classroom! They need books on their level for practice at home. These books would be an essential piece of the virtual learning puzzle by providing opportunities for student success having books in their hands to become better readers! Exposure to good social emotional books are vital, especially during these unprecedented times. These books would be used with the entire class to help students understand emotions and feelings. We would have good class discussions and students would be able to self-reflect. There are so many uncertainties in the world right now. All of these books would support my students emotionally and academically!
