Thank you for visiting my page! I have been teaching for Hartford Public Schools for 14 years- all of which have been spent at Maria Sanchez. In addition to my work in the classroom, I help mentor new teachers, host student teachers, and facilitate professional development for the district. I decided to become a teacher after a rewarding experience coaching middle school and high school diving and I knew I wanted to work with inner city children. I do everything I can to give my students learning experiences connected to the real world. I want every one of my students to be at the center of their own learning and feel like they can make a difference not only in their own education but in the community as well.
