My school has a fairly diverse population with a high percentage of students at or below the poverty line. On a daily basis I work with students of all demographics and ability levels. The students reflect the full spectrum in terms of their attitudes toward education and learning. Some students are naturally very driven and passionate about learning, while others are difficult to motivate and engage. The majority of students fall somewhere in the middle of this range. However, I enjoy working will all of my students, and I believe that our school is committed to building an appreciation for learning in all of our students. We have a large student population, yet we work very hard to make sure that students feel that their school is a true community. Additional resources for technology would help us to address increasing the engagement of all students.
