On the football field, it's tough for students to hear constructive feedback from the staff without proper amplification. And it puts unnecessary strain on the teachers' voices to have to shout to students half a football field away. Having these roadblocks often creates opportunities for miscommunication and frustration to creep into the rehearsal process, which isn't good for anyone in the long run. It means we have to work harder than we should to get things done. We need a way to communicate in rehearsals, especially when we are outside. Having a loudspeaker will ensure that rehearsals run more efficiently and that everyone is happy at the end of the evening, resulting in a more polished product that the students and school community can be proud of.
