My student are from the highest level of poverty. Our school is 100% free and reduced lunch. Many of my students lack confidence in academics and in sports. Most are hesitant about participating in activities that are outside of their comfort zone. They feel that they are not good enough. I want that to change. This school year I have noticed that when my students have the opportunity to experience a new sport and realize that they can be successful, the smiles and confidence levels soar!!

About my class
