We are starting a new reading curriculum and need these books to use the curriculum like it is supposed to be used. Students will work in literacy circles and clubs to discuss these great books. They will also have the opportunity to practice becoming fluent readers together as a group. They will be able to do that because each individual student will be able to put a copy of the book in their hand! When students can discuss a shared reading project, it helps feed their love for reading. Many of my students don't have an easy life. I want to show them that reading is a fun way to escape and have life experiences that they might not get otherwise. I can do this by giving them access to great titles like these! "Reading gives us someplace to go when we have to stay where we are." -Mason Cooley
