I used to teach 2nd grade and my carpet comfortably fit twenty-six 2nd graders. But when I moved to 4th grade the bodies and the number of students both grew. We no longer all fit on the carpet comfortably and due to some of my student's special needs, sitting in close proximity to another student can be a trigger for them. These two carpets will replace the one I have that is over 10 years old and falling apart, as well as allow students to have the space they need to comfortably sit without being in someone else's space. It will also allow for safe movement to and from the carpeted area.
