My name is Heather Anderson, and I am excited to be entering my eighth year of teaching! I am a 9th grade Pre-AP Language Arts teacher at Stillwater Jr. High in Stillwater, Oklahoma. In addition to my teaching duties, I am the sponsor and coach for three SHS Mock Trial teams. I was deeply honored to be named the Veterans of Foreign Wars Payne County District Teacher of the Year for 2017-2018, the Eskimo Joes Teacher of the Year for 2016-2017, and Stillwater Jr. High's Teacher of the Year for 2015-2016. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree from Oklahoma City University, and my Masters in Teaching, Learning, and Leadership: Curriculum Studies from Oklahoma State University. I am the proud mother of a three year old son and the wife of a United Methodist pastor.
