Having flexible seating in the library allows students to choose a spot to read where they can really get into their book and encourages students to sit longer with the book they have chosen. Having a choice of where to sit also encourages better choices and behaviors. Giving students different seating options where they can explore books comfortably helps to foster a love of reading. After the library lesson, students have the option to do activities at a table such as puzzles or coloring pages. They also have the option to read books; however, there are currently no comfy places to sit to enjoy their books.
