Too often teachers hear, "There's nothing good to read," or "that book is boring!" For this project, I've selected books for my classroom library. I want to have books that reach all students so every student can find that book that impacts them and changes their trajectory as readers. My goal is to create a classroom library of texts that represent diverse characters and interests and that appeal to readers of all ability levels. I believe that an emphasis on reading will benefit students across the board in all of their content area classes. This year our school's focus is Read to Succeed. I want to have a hand in my students' success by making books accessible!
