Our school is a suburban school in a large urban district. We attract students from all over our county. Thirty percent of our student body are eligible for government assistance. We are a nationally recognized high school by various ranking publications and we are a top ten high school in our state. Despite the relatively high percentage of public assisted students, we receive no Title 1 monies or other budgetary assistance for these students. We do not let this set our school back but instead find ways to compensate for this lack of funding and make sure all our students are ready for life after high school.
