My students are in 6,7,8 grade. They are all very sweet and loving but often require a separate break area or sensory input in order to prevent aggressive and self-injurious behaviors. When I am able to provide them with sensory materials as an outlet, they are more likely to display appropriate behaviors and stay on task.
