Children need a safe place to learn and grow. This proposal will fulfill the basic needs of all children, a cozy welcoming space that invites learning. This space is going to be created for first grade students. As beginning readers they are thirsty learners that desperately want to read. Research shows that the more time children spend reading, the better readers they will become. An inviting and comfortable environment will enhance their desire to read and to keep reading over a sustained period of time.

About my class
