It teaches students to work together and rely on each other, helps them to think creatively and problem solve, and gives them a sense of pride and confidence in their abilities in and out of the classroom. The benefits of taking part in an art program can last a lifetime, and it is especially important in this day and age, where Fine Arts are the first thing to be cut when the budget is tight.
