For the most part our students come from low income, working class families. In fact, 68% are on free and reduced lunch. Our part of the community is known as the Southside. This area has a reputation of being rough and unrefined, but it is also a close knit group with great pride. This children are simply wonderful, fun, energetic and excited to learn. Our school is a supportive place for these students giving them a stable environment which they may not go home to.

About my class
