I currently use a piano in the classroom, which I love, but it is not feasible to move it to the location where students perform. The keyboard will be a great addition to our performances. Right now my students are sitting on colored benches, which make management easy, but when we need to use the space for dances or any type of lesson that requires movement, moving the benches takes a lot of time away from the kids. It has also been a safety issue; students will sit on one end of the bench, and the other end goes flying up. I have also had benches smash fingers while moving them, and falling on toes. The rug will make for easy, smooth, and safe transitions.
