Some students have trouble sitting still, especially day after day in the same seats. Therefore, I would like to add a few structured options to my class. Flexible seating, even if structured, helps to break the monotony of sitting at the same desk every day. I would like standing desks for my students that tend to wander or have a hard time sitting still. These give them the ability to be up and out of their seats, but while also having a place that they can work efficiently and effectively. I would also like floor desks for my students that need to sit closer when taking notes or other situations where they need to create an extra seat. I also like that these floor desks work in regular chairs too. Most of our classroom seating is in the chairs that are connected to desks. However, I do have a couple of individual chairs, and this will turn these into desks when necessary.
